Friends of the Kewaunee Public Library


The Friends of the Kewaunee Public Library provide additional support for the library. Donations from the Friends of the Library are used for adult and children's programming. Support from the Friends of the Library allow the library to offer additional services that the library budget does not support.​

Meetings

The Friends of the Library meet the second Friday of the month 10:30am at the Kewaunee Public Library. Please join us!​

Book Sales

Wednesdays 3-7 pm and Saturdays 10:30 am -3:30 pm

The Friends of the Library will accept books, current magazines, puzzles (must have all pieces), music items, DVDs , etc.

The Friends will not accept books or other items that are dirty, musty smelling, torn, poor condition, outdated magazines, National Geographic, textbooks, computer or health books.

Library Policies


Library Cards:
A driver's license or State ID and verfication of current address is required to obtain a free library card.

Library cards are available when patrons reach age 6. Patrons under the age of 16 need a parent's/guardian's signature.
​
Library borrowing privileges are withheld when there is money owed on the library card.
There is a $3.00 charge for a replacement library card.

Borrowing Information:
A patron's borrowing records are confidential for the patron's protection. If you allow another person to borrow items on your library card, you are held responsible for those materials.

Overdue Notices:
Patrons will be notified either by email or by mail when there library items are overdue.
